The People’s Committee of Thái Nguyên Province has just issued a Decision approving the evaluation and ranking results of the architectural design competition proposals for the construction of the new Gia Bẩy Bridge, aimed at selecting the optimal architectural solution for the project.

According to the Decision, the First Prize was awarded to entry code TC001 submitted by Transport Engineering Design and Investment Construction Consultancy Joint Stock Company No.1 (TECCO 1). The Second Prize went to entry code TN268 by Thanh Cong Ha Noi Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, while the Third Prize was awarded to entry code DC6868 by HT Vietnam Construction Consulting Co., Ltd.

The architectural design competition was organized in full compliance with the Law on Architecture and relevant guiding documents, based on the urgent schedule requirements of the Gia Bẩy Bridge reconstruction project. The project aims to address the consequences of natural disasters and flooding following recent storms, while also meeting the urban development planning orientation of Phan Đình Phùng and Linh Sơn wards.

The Provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Department of Construction, the Provincial Project Management Board for Transport and Agricultural Construction Investment, and relevant local authorities to implement the next steps in accordance with the approved Decision, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing the basis for implementing the project’s design and construction in the coming period.
